Special Delivery: A One Act Play

Destrier Books is proud to announce the publication of the award winning Special Delivery: A One Act Play written by Malena Eljumaily. The play was first produced in June 2012 at the 6th Street Playhouse in Santa Rosa, California. This was in partnership with Redwood Writers' Ten Minute Play Festival.


Special Delivery was voted as the Audience Favorite from among the nine plays produced at that festival.

Synopsis: Once a sparkling debutante, 92 year-old Miss Elizabeth Hobbs is now living a dreary existence in San Francisco's less-than-chic Tenderloin district. Once Miss Hobbs meets Milo, a young man working off his community service hours, she finds her life moving in strange and unexpected directions.

Props: 1 locket, 1 walker, 2 foil wrapped food trays
